Chiron Into Taurus: Healing Self-Worth, Your Body, and Your Pocketbook

This week, we greet the arrival of Chiron moving into Taurus, a transit that sparks the beginning of a welcome journey of healing—one that includes a slow, gentle, and sometimes methodical approach to wellbeing. It’s not a perfect journey, and there will be challenges, but Taurus promises if you stick with it, and are willing to go at a more delicate pace, healing awaits you.

A wise centaur from Greek mythology, Chiron, was gifted with healing powers to help others while carrying a wound himself. In astrology, the small planet Chiron holds this same healing energy as it moves through zodiac, mending the challenges each sign bears.

For Taurus, we’ll embrace grounded healing energy around self-worth, finances, and our bodies. We’ll come to peace with our innate value as human beings—just as we are. We’ll make better financial decisions or find ourselves in a position to heal past money mistakes. And we’ll learn to honor our bodies as the temple they are.

The healing won’t be overnight, but at a slower pace, one that allows for truth, growth, understanding and embodiment. It will move us to stop and smell the roses—to appreciate life’s beauty in ways we’ve not done before. It will let us see others and ourselves as perfectly imperfect and still worthy.

This transit is just the beginning of the Chiron/Taurus healing journey, as Chiron stays in Taurus until September before returning in April of next year for the next six- to-seven years. So, what we experience in our healing during these three months is a taste of what is to come. My recommendation: Embrace it. Take full advantage of it.
