Fun Facts About Mediumistic Energy

How does a medium get ready to read?

Mediumship requires a little preparation. Although Spirit is usually ready and rarin’ to go before a reading, they vibrate at a much higher frequency than we mere mortals. So, that means that I have to ramp up my energy before a reading while Spirit has to tamp down their energy. Then, we basically meet in the middle with me “blending” with their energy. I stay in complete control of my energy; I am just deeply connected to Spirit.

So, what do I do? I dance, sing, bounce around my house like a five-year-old, and my energy naturally increases.

In order to prepare to meet Spirit, I have to boost my energy. I will often meditate and use specific visualizations designed to increase my connection with Spirit. But sometimes, I need a little more of a boost. So, what do I do? I dance, sing, bounce around my house like a five-year-old, and my energy naturally increases.

My energy (or Spirit’s) may fade during a reading. If it’s me who’s waning, I ask Spirit to “plug me back in” and hope that we make another connection. But sometimes, it doesn’t work, and when that happens, I know Spirit may have pulled back. This occurs most likely because they feel their message has been delivered so they feel comfortable “stepping back” and letting the sitter (client) take it all in.

At this point, I may give the sitter a couple minutes to digest the reading and ask any questions. One of the questions I often receive is, "What is the most important message Spirit wants to deliver? This may be my favorite question because the answer is simple. It's the reason I do mediumship."Life goes on." This third rock from the sun is only a stepping stone to what is next, and it will be another incredible journey.
