Making the most of the February full moon

This Sunday’s full moon abounds with the energy of expressing yourself and fuels the desire to pursue joy in your life. It’s a time for your authentic self to blossom and shine—to reflect out to the world how you want the world to see you, whether it’s through your looks, actions or thoughts. It’s time for you to see the real you as well, and then get out there and show it off with fun and flair.
February’s Leonine moon excites your passions, emboldens your courage and supercharges your creativity, giving you the lunar key to release the bonds that have held you back from being you! So, take advantage of this, because this full-moon goldmine piggybacks on the recent changes in the planet Mars and could generate an additional power boost, as the planet Mars (our action planet) went direct earlier in January. So now, there’s a bold push to move forward fully standing in your aura of strength and enjoying life to the fullest.
It’s time for you to see the real you as well, and then get out there and show it off with fun and flair.
A Leo full moon accentuates your creativity. Now is the time to write, draw, paint—think and create outside the lines like a child. Let your mind and heart serve as architects for expression. Repaint your house in all those bright colors, garb yourself in the clothes that make you feel regal and hold your head high out in the world.
Of course, Leo brings with it the dramatic, and as the moon is the governess of all things emotional, it’s also a time to watch how you react to others. Breathe before responding, count to ten—do anything that keeps you from jumping from zero to sixty in a few seconds. Remember, it’s not just your emotions that will be heightened; theirs will be, too. Like the old adage says, “Don’t dump gas on a burning fire.”

Also, keep in mind that this full moon squares Uranus, the planet of disruption and revolution. Intimate relationships could feel the brunt of this, as Uranus is stationed in its ruling sign of Aquarius creating some distance and likely pivoting away from the norm. But a little dance between the planets of Venus and Mars may minimize this and waltz those relationships straight into the bedroom for some romance.
This full moon may feel like an emotional rollercoaster at times, but it brings with it the power to change and love, so embrace it to its fullest.
