Embracing the Bull's Energy in Our Lives

The hands of time have moved, and we find ourselves in Taurus season, with the bull in full bloom like spring.
On one hand, there’s the Ferdinand the Bull Taurus, happily sniffing the flowers and luxuriating in their beds with petals gently tickling and enfolding him. This Taurus may invite you to a wine tasting at a gallery or share a gourmet meal with you, fully engaging in the sensual pleasures. This is the landscape where Taurus is most happy—surrounded by beauty and savoring rich sensations in a stable, solid world. Tauruses will gladly plant themselves here and hope to grow but never really want to move unless it’s on their own time.
"Venus rules Taurus, gifting the sign with uncanny knowledge of value and investment..."
At the other end is the matador’s ferocious bull, explosive in his anger, charging red with fiery snorts. Taurus does not like to venture here, and you may not recognize the signs with this bull until it’s too late. At first, the Taurus may retreat in silent anger, eager to avoid a confrontation, but move a piece of furniture in a Taurus’ house and face the death stare, or worse, a nuclear attack on your lack of couth.
Home is a sanctuary, a retreat, and Taurus values etiquette and social graces.
Venus rules Taurus, gifting the sign with uncanny knowledge of value and investment, whether it’s worthiness of a relationship, the self or the economics of a job. And though Taurus moves at a glacial pace, if something or someone provides no value in the Taurus’ eyes, they blink and the relationship ends.
" Allow the Taurus strength to feed your strength and help you ease any stress or pain in these areas."
Your friend, the bull, will stand by your side, patiently loving and supporting you, exceeding the gold standard of loyalty. At times, you may notice their inability to let go because they are so committed. When this happens, gently hold their hooves in your hands and breathe with them to ground and help release. Let them know you are okay just because they’re with you.
Remember not to ensnare your bull in nonstop drama. While fiercely loyal even in difficult times, unnecessary drama will push them away. They will fall back and engage self-protection mode, loving you from afar but asserting their need for consistency and calm.
And what parts of the body does the bull rule? The fifth chakra—neck, shoulders and throat. If the neck is stiff or you feel that you can’t speak your truth, practice yoga and gentle neck stretches to open you up. Allow the Taurus strength to feed your strength and help you ease any stress or pain in these areas.
The bull is a beautiful sign blessed with gifts of sensuality and worth from its ruling planet Venus. As spring grows and blooms around you, let the glow of Taurus blossom in you.
